Mrs. Surber is a true West sider, who went to Mother of Mercy High School and Mount St. Joseph University and now still lives west of Cincinnati on 5 acres, out in the country, in Indiana. She is a pillar at St. Vivian and has been teaching there for 27 years, both in 5th grade and junior high. She started at St. Vivian because she did her student teaching there and loved it so much that she stayed. Mrs. Surber’s favorite subject in grade school was Math and she also liked Science. She has been married for almost 25 years and has a son and a daughter. Mrs. Surber is obsessed with soccer and follows FC Cincinnati and FC Barcelona and her son on his college soccer team and her daughter on her high school soccer team. She was also quite the sports player in elementary school and high school and played soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis, basketball, ran track and did the swim team!
