- March 26th-April 3rd– Spring Break-no school
- April 4th– In service; no school- Teachers will be attending the NCEA National Conference.
- April 10th: State testing begins
NEWS FROM PTA:
Everybody Counts, our disabilities awareness program, will be held throughout the first 2 weeks of April. This is a compassionate introduction to learning about challenges many of our peers face. Volunteer presenters are needed to for each class K-5. Check out the Sign Up Genius. Must be Virtus Trained.
April 16 is Muffins with Mom is April 16
Everybody Counts is our disabilities awareness program. Our classes will explore different aspects of a physical, mental, or cognitive challenge. Our students get to experience activities that represent how it may feel to have such a challenge, like using a walker, feeling a Braille book, or attempting worksheets that demonstrate reading difficulties depending on the grade level 3 volunteers are needed for each classroom. Volunteers will be given a curriculum for the classroom they sign up for. Take some time to connect with you classroom presenters and decide who will be presenting each section.
April 24 starts our Sabre Fun Run, an updated version of walk a thon. Stay tuned for ways you can participate
