NEWS FROM PTA:

PTA is trying something new to help encourage communication. Each week we will post a video of one our students giving the PTA notes.  Within that video there will be a code word to listen for.  Click on the link to watch the video. Listen to the announcement and the code word.   Email the code word to stvpta@gmail.com by noon on Dec 3 with your family name.  Those families will be entered into a raffle to win a $5 Amazon gift card.

Jingle Bell Shop is coming up Dec 6 and 7 where  kids can be apart of the giving rather than just receiving.  Your student will be sent home  a  shopping list for friends and family.  All gifts are under $5 with most being $1-$2.

Many volunteers are needed for set up, wrapping, helping young ones shop, and clean up.   For those who would like to volunteer but have little ones,  PTA will be offering free child care on Friday only.   Check out the Sign Up Genius to volunteer or provide snacks and drinks for our volunteers.   Thursday and Friday volunteers must be Virtus Trained.

Christmas Concert

PTA organizes a light refreshment reception after the Christmas Concert on December 20th. We are looking for 2 or 3 “hosts” to set this up.  A Sign Up Genius will go out to ask for treats. Please contact stvpta@gmail.com if interested.

Candy Sale

Please  pick up a box of World’s Finest Chocolate to sell for PTA. We have a few more left.  We are working towards raising money for security improvements including a new Public Address system.  The Sale ends Dec 7.

Volunteers for Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is coming up January 27-February 2.  There will be dozens of opportunities to volunteer including Open House, Everybody Counts, and Teacher Appreciation Lunch.  Most of these require Virtus Training.
