Happy September!! Where did August go? The year is off to an awesome start! We have a wonderful group of staff, students and parents! Our parents are continuing to step up to fill the much needed volunteer spots. Our school cannot run without all of your amazing support! IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:
- Look for the information to log onto our new student management system “Gradelinks” next week. Once you log on, please check that your information is correct for your children. We will use this site for everything this year- email, text and phone for school delays or other important information and student grade management.
- September 19: School pics. Students may be out of uniform but must follow the handbook guidelines. No shorts or sandals please!
- October 3/4 Fall Break: No School
- October 17: End of the 1st quarter
- October 18: No School In Service
Orchestra, band, and choir is starting St. Vivian! Forms have been passed out in music class. We’ll be starting each of these next week, September 11-13. If your child is interested in one, two, or all of these, please have them see Mr. Shea, or parents can email email@example.com

Don’t Forget!! Dine to Donate: September 7, Skyline Chili, Finneytown.
This is a great opportunity to support our school, while spending time with family and friends! One night each month, St. Vivian partners with local restaurants, who donate a portion of their sales directly to the St. Vivian PTA. A flyer was sent home with your student for our September event at Skyline Chili and is needed for St. Vivian to receive credit. Attached is another copy for you to reprint and share with others.

When does the PTA meet? St. Vivian is such a wonderful school because of the AMAZING parents that volunteer throughout the year! There is a reason you chose our school for your child, we are counting on you to help us continue to be successful and the best option for your family. We really hope to see many new faces at both the meetings and helping with events this year. This year, we will alternate months with the 3rd Thursday and 3rd Sunday. Following is a schedule for our next 4 meetings, all held in St. Ursuline Hall. Childcare will be provided, so bring the whole family! This is a great opportunity for a Middle School students to earn service hours! If interested, please email the PTA.

Volunteer for Recess! This is an easy way to earn an hour of volunteer time! This is also perfect if you have a little one because you can bring them with you. The students LOVE seeing younger siblings. You can either click on the Sign-up Genius link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0A44A8AF2CA1FF2-recess2 to chose the same day each month, or email Allison Meyers at email@example.com to let her know a day you can com in for the current month. It’s totally flexible to fit your busy lifestyle. Must be Virtus trained.

Gym/Spiritwear Shirts: If you would like to purchase one, please send $5, cash (exact change, please) or check (made payable to St. Vivian PTA) to school in an envelope labeled with your child’s name, teacher and requested size on it, and one will be sent home with your student.
Spirit wear: You can purchase sweatshirts, 3/4 zip pullovers and microfleece pullovers through Schools Bells. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Spirit wear mom Lisa Dario at email@example.com

Uniform Exchange: St. Vivian is so blessed to have such generous families who donate uniforms to this program! If you need uniforms, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Tracey Bohem and Kelly Braun manage this program and they would be happy to help you out. If you have gently used jumpers, skirts, pants, shorts and shirts that your child can no longer fit, please consider donating them to our Uniform Exchange! As a courtesy, we ask that you please, please launder your items before donating. This will ensure that we can pass them along quickly to another student.
