St. Vivian School

“Home of the Sabres!”

On behalf of the faculty and staff of St. Vivian School, I would like to welcome you to our community. We are committed to the education of the whole child and it is my intention to maintain an exceptional educational program. We create opportunities in which our students serve others, and promote an environment of respect, caring, and responsibility within and outside of our school.

Our school is fully accredited from the State of Ohio and serves children from PreK through eighth grade. St. Vivian School follows the Archdiocesan Graded Course of Studies which has been approved by the State Department of Education (Ohio), with the addition of daily religion classes. All students change classes daily, except for Kindergarten.

The school office is open from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm on school days. The official school day begins at 7:40 am. Dismissal is at 2:20 pm.

St. Vivian is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) school.  Our school features an art room, music room, library, computer lab, resource center, and activity center/gymnasium.  We also have a one-to-one Chromebook program for our 6-8 graders.  A psychologist, speech pathologist, supportive reading/enrichment teacher, and nurse are also on staff at St. Vivian. Our cafeteria provides hot lunches daily as well as a la carte items for brown bag lunches. We offer an after school Extended Care Program for students in grades PreK– 7. The sports-minded in grades 3 – 8 can choose among several athletic team activities. Students can also participate in band, our strings program, choral groups, plays and musicals, Scouts,  and service groups, as well as additional student activities.

St. Vivian School is committed to the goal of supporting parents in their role as the primary religious educators of their children. Through our joint efforts, the children will discover a God who is present and active in their daily lives and will, in turn, become powerful witnesses of gospel values to the world.

Again, welcome to the St. Vivian School community. If you would like more information about St. Vivian School, please call me at 522-6858, extension 202. I would be happy to answer any of your questions or arrange for a tour of our facilities.

Blessings!
